"Soulfly VII" is the closing track of the seventh album Omen, released in 2010. This eponymously-titled instrumental edition is somewhat reminiscent of the first two Soulfly instrumentals. This song is filled with twin-guitar melodicism sounding like the fusion of The Police and U2, percussion producing tropical music rhythm, and acoustic, ballad-like interludes. The making of this song was influenced by Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, and few other instrumentalists and the guitar playing was inspired by Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) and The Edge (U2).
