"K.C.S.", which stands for "Kill, Cut, Scalp" is a track of the Soulfly album Savages, released in 2013. This song is about killing and then dismembering everyone's body and soul, hence the order of the full title. There is sitar-percussion duet prior to the ambient outro, where it ends with shotgun reloading.
This song features Mitch Harris of Napalm Death, who performs death punk screeches. "It was an honor for me to finally collaborate on a song with Max and Co. It's something we've been talking about for the last 9 years. I've always felt like part of the Cavalera extended family, and for me it was a truly uplifting, comforting and memorable experience after say 26 years or so. We ran through all the takes together, trying to capture the carnal energy, the push and pull between force and action. Friction, charisma, and something true directing the sole intent of the message, that was my general angle on it. Art and expression are about capturing the moment, the essence of a connection between like-minded souls, expanding on concise ideas that start small and end up big."
Sacred Suffocate Burial Terminate Putrid Bloodbath Tyrants Bastards Evil Ominous Sacrifice Contagion Carnivore Sabotage Master Ritual We're cannibals all around the fire The heart of jungle is my power Born of darkness and slaughter We're fucking savages chanting war! Kill, cut, scalp - all your bodies Kill, cut, scalp - all your souls Kill, cut, scalp - all your heads Kill, cut, scalp - all of you... Hunting down they come for you Sacrifice enters your doom Bleed for your sins and bleed for me Civilization under siege Kill, cut, scalp - all your bodies Kill, cut, scalp - all your souls Kill, cut, scalp - all your heads Kill, cut, scalp - all of you... Consuming human to stay human Force-fed children of scum Consuming flesh to grow flesh Radiation up in ashes!
